With another year coming to a close, our team along with Ray White Rural Toowoomba came together to celebrate the achievements of 2018 at our annual awards night held in December at the Armitage Centre – Empire Theatre.
Ray White Qld CEO Tony Warland attended, thanking everyone for a stellar year while paying gratitude to the business leaders for being “great mentors to the team”.
Recognising the hard work put in by the team during the year, the night was also a chance for the sales and property management staff to come together to celebrate the Christmas season.
Host Rebecca Cosgrove said the gala event saw 25 awards presented in front of an audience of 60 employees, partners, colleagues and special guests.
“As a business owner, I really enjoy organising our annual event to thank our wonderful staff who are our family,” Rebecca said. “The night is all about them – celebrating all of their achievements for the year – with the focus on the fact it takes a team to achieve results.
“We have a wonderful support team assisting our salespeople and property managers, so it’s a case of thanking each and every one of them, including all spouses and partners.
“Planning for the event starts in January and there is always a surprise element to the evening,” Rebecca said. “This year, a Game Show Live challenge provided some great fun and friendly competition for the night.”
While an important element of the evening was about celebrating the team’s successes, it also was about recognising individual achievements. The audience enthusiastically applauded Wade Lockrey as Salesperson of the Year and Emmi Tummon as Property Manager of the Year. The Chronicle Award (for most advertisements) was won by Verity Campbell and the Best Advertisement going to Wade Lockrey.
